  •  🚔 Strengthening Public Safety – Support our first responders, ensure proper funding for police and fire departments, and improve emergency response times.
  •  🏪 Bringing More Essential Businesses to North Harker Heights – Advocate for grocery stores, retail, and restaurants to expand into underserved areas.

💵 Overcoming the Loss of Disabled Property Tax Exemption Reimbursement

Harker Heights is facing a financial challenge due to the lack of state reimbursement for property tax exemptions granted to disabled veterans. This loss of revenue directly impacts the city’s ability to fund essential services, infrastructure, and public safety while maintaining fiscal stability. Without action, the burden could shift unfairly to residents and small businesses.on on this issue.
